Exploring Entrepreneurs
About This Program
Exploring Entrepreneurship Program is for 13 to 17 year old students interested in learning how to start a business. Teen Enterprise facilitates “Out of School Time” programming at Recreation and Youth Centers designed to enhance teen empowerment, build resiliency, positive identity, self-esteem as well as entrepreneurial life skills needed to compete in the global economy and create pathways to a brighter future.
Program Outcomes
Students in the Exploring Entrepreneurs Program gain real-world business experience, from idea development to product creation and launch. By the end of the program, participants will:
✔ Develop a business idea and create a working prototype
✔ Gain leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
✔ Learn the fundamentals of marketing and business strategy
✔ Showcase and sell their products at the Dare 2 Believe Pop Up Shop
✔ Get hands-on experience with coding, graphic design, 3D printing, and more
This program equips teens with the confidence and skills to turn ideas into action—preparing them for future success in business and beyond.
